A favorite at Dr. Rocket's Blues Bar, Roy Uvalle "tears up" that guitar and puts on a great show on top of his musical talent.

A favorite at the "Executive Surf Club" in downtown Corpus Christi, this group is a huge hit for Wedding Receptions and will bring out the Elton John and Billy Joel in you. From the 50's to the 90's, this band's music selection has always pleased our clients. Pianist, Bill Powell, also can perform as a soloist for dinner music or at another event. Voted "Best of the Best" 2001 by the readers of the Corpus Christi Caller Times.

Johnny Dee & The Rocket 88's Classic Rock, Oldies	4 Hr. Min.	$6,500	$8,500	.	A very popular band in the state of Texas and famous for their "Don't Mess With Texas" commercials. Oldies are this band's specialty. (Video available.)
Kevin Hill Band Variety	4 Hr. Min.	$2,500	$3,500	OT=$500 and Hr.	Featuring Kevin Hill on Stand Up Bass, this five piece band plays everything from Disco to Rock and Roll. This band is a prefect band for any wedding reception or corporate event.
Latin Talk 5-6 Piece Flamenco Group	4 Hr. Min.	$1,500	$2,500	.	This group is Corpus Christi's version of Latin/Jazz Salsa music. The band was formed by Michael Perez, a local latin jazz guitarist and instructor who with his brother, John (pianist), put this group together. They recently recorded their second CD, and perform for many concerts, receptions and special dinner occasions. Just listen to our sample CD... just pure elegant music!
Matt Hole & The Hot Rod Gang Classic Rock, Swing Band From Corpus Christi	4 Hr. Min.	$1,250	$1,750		This is not your regular trio that just sits there and plays classic 50's. This "Johnny Be Good" guitarist, stand-up bass and drummer give you a heck of a show that will get your crowd dancin' in their seats if not the dance floor. From the sounds of classic hits from the 50's to some Jazzy Swing tunes and some originals, Matt Hole (from London) brings to your party a night to remember... kinda like "Fonzie and Happy Days." A huge hit at Corpus Christi's Executive Surf Club where they consistently sell out to crowds of 500 to 700. Rumor is that they may be taking their show to New York! (CD avilable.)
N D Man Top 40, Reggae, Hip Hop From San Antonio	4 Hr. Min.	$1,250	$2,500	.	Talented 4-piece group that gives you that Bob Marley feeling with a lot of funk. Plays regularly at many clubs in the Corpus and San Antonio areas. They can perform a 4-hour Reggae show, a 4-hour Top 40 sow or a mix. You'll dance all night with this band. Oh So Good Classic Rock, Oldies, Country & Pop	4 Hr. Min.	$3,500	$5,000	3 rooms needed.	This group is one of San Antonio's best "show bands." Their show is based on a wide variety of music showcasing their lead guitarist and two female vocalists. Their sound and light show is wonderful and their attire can be tailored for your occasion. Rosewood Strings Band, Bluegrass, Cajun & Country	4 Hr. Min.	$600	$1,000	.	A 4-piece band that consists of "strings" to accommodate any Cajun party or deep down Country Gig. With the fiddle, mandolin, bass and guitar pickin' away, adds that true cajun voice to fill any crawfish party, rattlesnake roundup or any other event. Attire can be tailored to fit your event. Take Two Variety Band from Brownsville	4 Hr. Min.	$5,000	$6,500	4 non-smoking rooms, doubles, required.	This band is "the finest from the Valley!" Dressed in formal attire, this is your perfect band to suit every culture. Their sample CD features music from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's, Tejano, Salsa, Merengue, Country and International. All the members are young and energetic and the female vocalist truly adds to this wonderful group. Dependable and classy.
Texas Fever Tejano, Country, Oldies, Blues & Rock	4 Hr. Min.	$2,000	$2,500		This band started out as "Country Fever" over 24 years ago and changed their name in 1994 because of the addition of "Tejano" music to their repertoire. They recently opened for LaDiferenzia and back in their Country days, opened for Ray Price, Willie Nelson, Freddy Fender, Merle Haggard and more. This 7-piece group is perfect for the parties who want a variety of music, but definitely need Tejano. (Sample CD available.)
The Big Time Variety Band From Austin	4 Hr. Min.	$5,500	$7,500	.	This band is a lot like "Duck Soup" (some say that they are almost identical!). Not quite as popular as most big-time bands from the State of Texas, but their reputation is growing. (Cassette available.)

A very reputable band that draws in a crowd when performing in Corpus night spots as well as San Antonio, Austin, Houston and the Dallas/Ft. Worth areas. The Hotcakes C&W, Rock, Top 40 & Oldies from Austin	4 Hr. Min.	$5,000	$6,000	.	One of America's hottest bands, the Hotcakes deliver versatility, showmanship and professionalism. The Hotcakes defines what a great dance band should be - outstanding vocal harmonies with the non-stop beat of one great song after another. A great 5-piece band that includes an optional female singer (for an additional price). (Bio, songlist available.)
The Pictures Classic Rock, Oldies, Country, Top 40, Alternative, Big Band & Swing from Austin	4 Hr. Min.	$6,500	$8,500	Add $1,000 for female vocalist, sax & trumpet player.	This group is the best in Texas (especially for wedding receptions). The Pictures are known as a "top choice" band for any event imaginable. They have played for George W. Bush at his gubernatorial inauguration in 1996 and also at one of his presidential inaugural balls in Washington, DC. Their music is a wide variety and their showmanship is very professional on stage. This 5-piece group has been together for over 16 years and can dress from casual to tuxedo. These full-time musicians keep up with all of today's new music, but ask them to play a golden oldie, you'll be smiling all night long with this band entertaining your guests. Trust me. Tracy Lynn C&W, Some Rock & Oldies from Austin	4 Hr. Min.	$3,500	$5,000	.	Originally from Portland, Tracy has ventured into the Austin market and plays regularly at Gruene Hall as well as other private events. Her song writing has received attention from Nashville. (Great video available.)
Triggerfish Tropicoustical	3 Hr. Min.	$750	$1,000	OT=$250 an Hour	From Port Aransas, this Trio plays a ton of Jimmy Buffett plus other musical standards. Luis on the Congas truly makes this band prefect for a beach theme event.
Trisum Rock, Oldies, C&W, Jazz & Blues	4 Hr. Min.	$1,250	$2,000	.	This group is a great trio that has played at the Holiday Inn Emerald Beach Kokomo Bar for the past 12 years. Their music versatility is a huge plus for those wanting a variety to choose from. Jazz and blues seem to be Mike Guerra's (band leader) favorites but you name it and they can play it!
Two Tons Of Steel True Country Western Swing	4 Hr. Min.	$2,500	$3,500	.	In 1999, Lone Star, the national beer of Texas was looking for a true Texas sound to help promote its beer. Two Tons was their choice. This band reminds you of the music from Asleep at the Wheel and plays regularly at Gruene Hall. Their stand up bass adds the real swing in this 4-piece group. Vince Vance & The Valiants Variety Band From The 40's to the 90's	4 Hr. Min.	$10,000	$12,500	Overnight rooms negotiable.	This Dallas group is probably the 'best' show and dance band in Texas. Recently on 'Good Morning America,' Vince has performed at the "Presidents Ball" twice and he surprises everyone with his costume changes throughout the show. Expensive but you've just got to take a look at their 21 minute video!
